Amid the green hills within easy reach of Bologna’s city-center, Kinder College offers a quiet, sunny environment to learn in. Schoolchildren can follow an International Programme all in English or, alternatively, a bilingual one (as we have seen before).

From the second year of Elementary school onwards, schoolchildren take up a second foreign language of their choice (French, German, Spanish or Chinese).

As in any English "public school", academic work and plenty of sports activities go hand in hand.

Making full use of the school’s ideal location, the children can learn to appreciate and look after nature while playing games in the school grounds.

Our activities include:

• Early school enrolment at age 5
• English Elementary School (an International Programme all in English), with end-of-year Trinity College of London Certificate
• Afternoon homework supervision
• Great emphasis is laid on music: piano / guitar / drums (choice of)
• Sports activities with an American "coach"
• Large gym available for volleyball / judo / minibasketball / fencing
• Outdoor volleyball/basketball courts/football pitch
• Dance/gymnastics/mime and "clowning"
• Drama classes with end-of-year shows, created and put on by the schoolchildren
• Judo lessons for different belts / soccer / tennis / swimming
• Private wood for nature trails and open-air lessons
• Several field trips to protected natural parks: where graduates in Biology or Natural Science explain the basis of the geology, flora and fauna of the park.
